Who makes the DRYOUT system?

The DRYOUT system is a Czech product developed in collaboration with experienced foreign experts and renowned testing laboratories.

How does the DRYOUT system work?

The DRYOUT system is based on an electrophysical electrode-free system that dries out houses and other objects in a contactless, safe, and efficient way.

The drying action using this method consists of two stages:

Stage A
The system gradually removes moisture from the capillary volume of a wet masonry.

Stage B
Prevents and protects the masonry from the capillary moisture rising up the walls.

The DRYOUT system is capable of fully replacing the missing or damaged insulation layers, leaving just the natural moisture within the masonry – about 3 – 5 %. After the walls are completely dry, the unpleasant moulds and stale smell disappear as well. The walls can be repaired or treated with a suitable paint.

What are the indications of using the DRYOUT system?

The DRYOUT system is specifically designed to eliminate rising capillary moisture. This dehumidification and drying system is not suitable for eliminating running or pressure-penetrating water from a building. These circumstances occur e.g. with cracked roof tiles, leaks through improperly sealed windows and doors, poor guttering, or visible cracks in the masonry through which water may flow during heavy rains. During the inspection, our technician will inform you whether your building is affected by similar types of excess moisture situations.

Is there a visual or any other evidence of the system’s effectiveness?

In almost every building there will be visible changes on the walls during the dehumidification stage. You will see the so-called salt blooms coming out of the walls – white crystals that start appearing on the walls.

The effectiveness of the system can be easily measured. We perform the first measuring upon the installation of the DRYOUT system, and then after two years of the device’s presence in the object. From the measured values we calculate the percentage of moisture reduction. We used certified KERN DARR laboratory devices for the measuring, these machines can also print out a protocol that is recognised by official authorities and courts.

How long does the drying take?

The DRYOUT automatically dehumidifies masonry up to its so-called natural moisture, which ranges between 3 – 5 % in dry structures. It usually takes about one year to dehumidify and dry a building. In some cases the drying may take up to 2 or 3 years maximum.

When it comes to heritage buildings, the drying period is often intentionally regulated (prolonged and slowed down) to prevent any damage to the structures or their valuable contents. In this case we use advanced devices and systems that we recommend as part of the key solution.

What happens if the DRYOUT system switches off?

Does the system have any health benefits?

The DRYOUT system contributes to better human health. The reducing moisture eliminates the occurrence of moulds, infections, and viruses, which is beneficial for people suffering from asthma, rheum, allergies, or respiratory conditions.

What are the annual costs of operation?

The advantage of the DRYOUT system is its low electricity consumption. You can have multiple devices in one building, all connected to a single 230 V 12 V source. The system ensures extremely low-cost operation, and its annual consumption is comparable to a mobile phone charger.

How much money does the system save on heating per year?

By using the DRYOUT you will significantly improve the insulation properties of your walls. Dry masonry saves up to 20 % of energy used for heating the object. This is a substantial saving given the current prices of energies and allows you to save up to five of hundreds EUR per year. The effect can be striking when drying objects heavily affected by rising moisture.
